This kit is a problem solver at a great price. The factory steering rack bushings aren't available separately from Toyota- you must buy the entire steering rack. The factory steering rack bushings do wear out and get loose over time- especially when using larger tires and/or running off road frequently. This causes the vehicle to wander and have sluggish steering response. This bushing kit will replace your factory steering rack bushings and stabilize the steering rack much better than stock bushings. We use the Total Chaos kit because they custom machine their bushing sleeves which makes for a nicer fit on the Tundra.
