Spring Over Axle Lift Kit and Individual Components

Here's some pieces for folks who want to do a spring-over lift on their samurai. Please note that the spring-over modification involves some major mechanical work as well as welding, cutting etc. There are no instructions so have a shop help if you aren't confident. We can supply Spidertrax' Hi-Steer system for 325.00.

Complete Samurai Spring Over Axle (SPOA) Lift Kit: This kit includes 4 of our heavy duty weld on spring perches, extended braided stainless brake lines with red protective poly cover, driveline spacers and Spidertrax weld on lower front and rear shock mounts. The only other items you will need is a steering setup and shocks. You can contact us after installing your SPOA kit with the loaded static measurements between your upper and lower shock mounts and we can supply Rough Country Hydro or Nitro shocks sized for your particular setup.

Aluminum Driveline Spacers:
These precision machined aluminum driveline spacers are sold individually with zinc plated metric grade 10.9 hardware and available in 1" thickness. These will keep your lifted Samurai's drivelines from desplining while conquering the big stuff and allow more spline contact for improved driveline reliability. Most 86-88.5 Samurai's use 8mm driveline flange bolts and most 89-95 Samurai's use 10mm driveline flange bolts. 1" is most common but let us know if you have a different thickness requirement.

Heavy Duty Steering Stabilizer Kit: 49.95

One thing that is often overlooked and certainly helps the handling of your spring over samurai with big tires is a heavy duty steering stabilizer. Not the puny one connected to your pitman arm, we're talking about an axle to tie rod mounted steering stabilizer and mounting kit. We carry this heavy duty kit from Rough Country because of the great price and high quality. It even comes with a polyurethane boot and bushings!
