Designed to handle the rigors of desert racing and off road use, these springs will give approx 1.5" of lift over stock springs on a 98-04 V6 Xtra Cab 4x4 Pickup. The springs feature 8 leafs, teflon anti-friction pads, diamond cut leaf ends, multiple heavy duty bolt type pack clamps, full military wrapped main eyes. The leaf material is 2.25" wide and the leaf springs are not left/right specific. Our kit also comes with a complete graphite impregnated (self lubricating) polyurethane bushing set, a seamless sleeve set and our zinc coated heavy duty u-bolt set with high nuts and washers. These leaf packs are tuned to work with a performance gas charged shock such as Bilstein 5100's (listed below). You will notice a huge improvement in the stability of your Tacoma, enhanced control of axle wrap as well as the rear suspension's ability to soak up bumps and washboard at low and high speed. Due to removal of the factory overload spring there will be a decrease in gross max weight handling capability over the stock leaf packs. We have our heavy duty stock type leaf springs listed here if you wish to retain your factory max weight carrying capacity with an overload type spring, or see the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement Kit below. We recommend using one of the the longer rear brake lines listed below when using longer travel shocks to allow for extra travel. A greasable shackle set that
includes heavy gauge gold zinc coated side plates with heavy duty pin type
greasable bolts, polyurethane bushings and necessary hardware. These are great
for stock springs or aftermarket springs using stock size spring eyes- such as
Deaver's Racing Springs. We offer a high quality teflon impregnated grease and
gun kit below, or you can use any quality molybdenum based grease. We also have
a greaseable bolt and bushing set for the main eye end of the spring, see below.
